The Life Center was established years ago in Mansourieh, Eastwood College. Bellow, you will find our church ministers under the “Council of Church of God in Lebanon and Syria”. They minister under the Supreme Evangelical Council in Syria and Lebanon..

God used Rev. Lucien Accad and his family for years to lead the Church of God in Mansourieh into maturity. In 2004, under the Leadership of Rev. Lucien Accad, Pastor Said Deeb becomes the Church Pastor, as Pastor Lucien's heart goes more and more towards mission in the Bekaa Valley. After Pastor Lucien Accad leaves us to be with The Lord in 2009,Rev. Said Deeb & Cecile his wife continue leading the Church of God in Mansourieh.

In 2004, Pastor Deeb and the Church feel called to reach the most needy people in Nabaa and Bourj Hammoud. After much prayer and following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they establish “Spring of Life Center” for children at risk. Then miraculously they are able to move to the "Life Center” in Bourj Hamoud in March 10, 2010. Further more the Church of God also moves to Bourj Hammoud. Today one of our 14 churches is still using our old rented facility in Mansourieh.

Our vision is to see Church of God – Bourj Hammoud develop into a continuously growing fellowship of disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, from every tongue, tribe and nation, to experience, Live and preach the Gospel of Kingdom of God in this world to win the lost, multiply, fill the earth and dominate it until Jesus comes Back!

Church of God mission is divided in two streams, the (Spiritual side) and (Mercy Side)

A- The SPIRITUAL SIDE:

To Win the Lost at any Cost!

Church of God – Bourj Hammoud with the Leading and help of the Holy Spirit, partnering with the body of Christ seeks to fulfil Christ’s Great Commission through proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, at the work place, in our Homes, on the streets and from the Church pulpit. By the Grace of God, we will win the lost and will do whatever to consolidate them, train them, and send them. This will happen through house groups or cell groups, and coming together periodically at larger events of outreach, intercession, worship, and fellowship!

Naturally, by obeying God, these groups will develop into churches, Lebanese or other nationalities.

At the same time, we enjoy to be a Lebanese or/and multinational church.

By the grace of our God, over the last years, Church of God – Bourj Hammoud, (Ex. Mansourieh), has gradually arisen at the center of a network of 14 churches and ministries, “The Union Of Churches” either through initiation, planting, or adoption, which have all contributed in various degrees to the accomplishment of the vision stated above.

B-The MERCY SIDE - Humanitarian and social:

God sent us to Bourj Hammoud, putting His passion in our hearts to feed the Hungry, protect the oppressed, help the widow and the orphans, support the refugees, no matter their colours, backgrounds, religion, or age.

This is for us as a church as important as preaching the Gospel, to show grace, mercy and love at any time, God blessed us with a nice facility “Life Center” to reach the poor, and help them practically on daily basis to find an oasis and Abundant Life in in wild deserts.

We believe in God who is the Creator and sustainer of all that exists. We also believe that God is one, eternally coexisting as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the full expression and revelation of God to humankind. Consequently, we believe that Jesus Christ is the centre of history -- that all historical events before "the Word became flesh" (John 1:14a) point to his birth, life, teachings, death, resurrection, and ascension. And all historical events since "he lived for awhile among us" (John 1: 14b) is defined by and gives witness to him as we await his coming again. We also believe that Jesus Christ entered human history, fully God and fully human, to proclaim the good news of the Gospel -- that even though we are living in a broken relationship with God, the Father has sent his "only begotten" Son to die on a cross and be raised to life that we might enter into a holistic relationship with him.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the comforting, convicting, counselling, and challenging presence of God who introduces us to Jesus Christ and bears witness to his Lordship. We believe the Holy Spirit, through his indwelling presence, empowers Christians to live joyous lives of love and purity. We also believe the Holy Spirit enables Christians to build up the Church, the Body of Christ, through the giving of spiritual gifts.

We believe in the authority, inspiration, integrity, and trustworthiness of Scripture -- from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible is the written revelation of God to his people, relevant for all people in all places at all times. It is the standard by which our lives, faith, and perspectives are measured.

We believe the Church is the community of the redeemed. It is the flock of God (John 10), his family (Eph. 3.15), his building (Eph. 2:21-22), his bride (Eph. 5:23-32), the Body of Christ (Eph. 4). Entrance into the Church is through faith in Christ alone, it is he who adds us to the Church as we are saved by grace. We also believe the mission of God's Church is to reconcile all persons to Jesus Christ and therefore to ourselves and each other.

We believe the kingdom of God is a present spiritual reality of God's rule and reign in the lives of Christians. We believe Christians will experience the blossoming of this reality in all its fullness when Jesus Christ returns to raise the dead. At that time in the not-to-distant future, we believe that all people who have ever lived will be rewarded or punished according to Christ's righteous judgement. The righteous, through their faith, will enter into eternal glory with Christ, and the unrighteous will enter into eternal separation from God.

Because of these doctrinal convictions, our goal in life is to extend the kingdom of God through the Church of God in the most effective way possible.
